The selection of Enterprise Vault, as an archiving system, that complemented exisiting Micorsoft Exchange solved the problem.
This healthcare provider has over 70, 000 users, working off 64 disparate email systems and competing for IT resources. To ensure proper performance with their current Microsoft Exchange email system, IT had to establish strict email mailbox size quotas that resulted in end-users creating PST files and growing storage needs. It also significantly increased the costs for acting on legal holds and eDiscovery searches.
